It’s like readying Noah’s Ark!

With only five days left before Frank and Bob hit the road for Seattle, preparations are at a fevered pace. Most of our efforts are focused on getting our new minivan’s hitch and electrical plug configured for towing.

Like the Beatles, we “Get by with a little help from our friends.” More specifically, Mike was kind and patient enough to spend 90 minutes in very humid conditions repositioning the van’s plug to a higher point to prevent it from bottoming out when we drive over dips. Pirooz installed a new plug on the trailer because the old one was cracked and no longer made good contact. Jean, an experienced sail maker, did a masterful job of repairing our trailer’s awning with her heavy-duty sewing machine. THANK YOU for sharing your talents with us!

Frank has been working very hard to wrap up as many projects at work as possible in anticipation of his extended vacation. Life is very hectic right now!

Most of our itinerary is set. The route, without sidetracks, is estimated to be more than 7,000 miles.

This is going to be great!
